Printing Services in Pakenham
We print for businesses across Pakenham, Officer, Beaconsfield, Berwick and the wider Cardinia Shire from our production facility in Somerville, and we deliver to the area.
We are not a Pakenham shopfront. What we are is a Melbourne print house that has been running commercial jobs for south-east businesses for over a decade, with the pricing and turnaround that comes from doing this at volume rather than farming it out.
How ordering works from Pakenham
You do not need to drive to us. Most Pakenham jobs run like this:
- Send your artwork, or just a description of what you need, through the quote form or by email.
- We quote, usually the same business day, with a confirmed delivery date.
- We check your files and flag anything that will not print cleanly. There is no charge for this.
- You approve, we print, and the job is delivered to your Pakenham address.
If you would rather collect, our Somerville facility is about 50 minutes from Pakenham and you are welcome to pick up.
Turnaround depends on the product, the quantity and the finishing. A short run of business cards and a 500-book NCR order are not the same job, so we give you a firm date at the quote stage rather than a range that might not hold.
The file check step matters more than people expect. Roughly a third of the artwork we receive from small businesses arrives without bleed, in RGB instead of CMYK, or at screen resolution. Sorting that out before the job goes on press is the difference between a two-day turnaround and a two-week one.
What Pakenham businesses order most
-
Cardinia Shire has a heavy concentration of trades, construction and new-estate real estate activity, and the order mix from the area reflects that.
NCR invoice books and duplicate pads
The single most common Pakenham order. Carbonless books in 2-part or 3-part, sequentially numbered, printed with your ABN and licence number. Trades use these on site where a phone-based invoicing app is not practical, and licensed electricians and plumbers need the compliance fields laid out correctly.
If you already have a book you like, photograph a page and we will match the format.

Business cards
Standard 350gsm with matt or gloss celloglaze, or heavier uncoated stock if you want something that feels different in the hand. Real estate agents working the Pakenham and Officer estates tend to go for the heavier options, since a card is often the only thing left behind after an appraisal.

Flyers for letterbox drops
Pakenham’s growth corridor makes letterbox distribution unusually effective here, because the estates have high household density and a constant flow of new arrivals who have not yet chosen a tradesperson, a gym or a takeaway.
DL and A5 are the two sizes that work for letterbox drops. A5 gives you room for a photo and an offer. DL is cheaper per unit and fits standard letterbox slots without folding. Both available on 128gsm to 170gsm gloss.
Specifications: flyers
Pull-up banners
Used for estate display suites, school expos, community events and trade stands. Standard 850mm x 2000mm with a printed skin and aluminium base, supplied in a carry bag.
If you are ordering for an outdoor event, tell us at the quote stage so we can advise on stock, because the standard indoor skin does not hold up well in wind.
Details: pull-up banners
Folded brochures
Tri-fold and DL brochures for real estate agencies, medical practices and allied health, which are the three categories opening most frequently in the Cardinia area. Available as roll fold, Z fold or gate fold on 150gsm to 250gsm.
Options: folded brochures
Everything else we print
Beyond the five above, the full range covers posters, stickers, labels on rolls, label sheets, laminated postcards, presentation folders, letterheads, envelopes, menus, beer coasters, swing tags, packaging boxes, booklets and magazines, bookmarks, calendars and greeting cards.

Artwork requirements
Supply a print-ready PDF where possible, with 3mm bleed, CMYK colour, fonts outlined and images at 300dpi. If you have a logo in a Word document and nothing else, send it anyway and we will tell you what is workable.
We do not charge for file checks or minor fixes. Full artwork creation from scratch is quoted separately.

FAQ:
Do you deliver to Pakenham?
Yes. We deliver to Pakenham, Officer, Beaconsfield, Berwick and the surrounding Cardinia Shire from our Somerville production facility. Delivery details are confirmed with your quote.
How long will my job take?
It depends on the product, the quantity and the finishing. Rather than quote a range that might not hold, we give you a firm completion and delivery date when we quote, usually within the same business day of your enquiry.
Is there a minimum order?
Minimums vary by product. Tell us the quantity you actually need and we will tell you whether it works or suggest the nearest practical run.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Our production facility is in Somerville, about 50 minutes from Pakenham, and we will let you know when the job is ready.
Do you print NCR invoice books with my licence number and ABN?
Yes. Send us your details and we will lay them out. If you have an existing book, photograph a page and we can match the format.
What file format should I send?
A print-ready PDF with 3mm bleed and CMYK colour is ideal. We also accept AI, INDD, PSD and high-resolution JPEG or PNG. If you are unsure, send what you have and we will check it.
Can you help if I do not have artwork?
We fix and prepare supplied files at no charge. Designing from scratch is a separate quoted service.
Do you print for schools and community groups in Cardinia?
Yes. Booklets, event posters, bookmarks and presentation folders are regular orders from schools and sporting clubs across the south-east.

Very reasonably priced. Very professional. Highly recommendPosted on Lisa TTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ted Bull Funerals have been using DTPS for printing memorial cards and order of service booklets. It’s rare that we can give more than 24 hours’ notice for printing but this is no issue. ALL jobs at DTPS are put aside to accommodate our request to meet the funeral service date. It doesn’t matter how many prints are requested, or whether we order a single sided A6 card or a 16-page A5 booklet, DTPS have never failed to ensure our prints are ready for collection. Michelle in production has taken her time to teach me how to supply the artwork correctly. Cheers to DTPS – I don’t know where we’d go if they weren’t around the corner.
